Good editors usually come in one of three varieties: the technical whizz who's especially good at music sequences; the speed merchant who can make a cut magically appear before your eyes; and the thoughtful psychologist who divines a film's true meaning and draws it out for all to see. It's exceedingly rare to find an editor who can be all three. But Rama Bowley can.
